- create only thumbnails without copying original files to destination folder.
- rename series, users can select all items or select only chosen items from list view and rename them to users defined filename with serial number. Users are also able to choose filename case "Do not care", "Uppercase" and "Lowercase", and test the result before rename them.
- rotate their banner (or their sponsor's banner) on the top of each page. Users must enter code, or copy from another file and paste it into Gallery. This is a text field so that users are also able to rotate TEXT BANNER, if they want to show Image Gallery note (or something) on the top of their HTML pages.
- choose HTML link color and visited link color; choose HTML top margin and left margin. And all these settings apply entire HTML gallery.
Changes
- Users could not use Enter Key on the text field "Page description text" on Options' dialog in version 2.0.3, but now users are able to use any keys. And Gallery inserts <br> to each line break if there is Carriage Return, and if users choose to make XHTML compliant pages, Gallery inserts </ br> for each line break.
- Users can name his (or her) HTML filename of image gallery. Gallery increments users defined filename +1, +2 and so on if users want to make multiple indexed HTML galleries.
- Users can create a new destination folder when they want to create thumbnails (or thumbnail gallery)
- In the options dialog, users had just HTML color code, but now they can see the colors, too.
- There is a problem between beginner users and advanced users concerning Style Sheet. The beginners do not want to have so many options and things they do not understand, and advanced users want to have more options to make better looking web gallery. And this version makes external Style Sheets and links it to every page. And users can choose either they want to use CSS or not use it at all. This way, advanced users are able to modify only a single CSS file and changing their entire web gallery. Since I (author) include the CSS template file, advanced users are able to modify it before they use it, so that they can reuse it as many times as they want to and do not modify it after creation of web gallery.
And many minor changes are made.
Fixed bugs
- Gallery could not get Header information when it restarted. Now it is working.
- If users choose a folder where contains JPEG2K files, Gallery shows them on its list view even if cannot read them. And now it does not show them.
- Some of users had still reported that they could not see their folders, but I (author) recoded this part, I hope it does not occur anylonger.
If you are wondering about GIF convert to JPEG, in Europe it is still not possible to use them freely.
